"When the moon is bright and the night is still, the Moon Rabbit appears, high on a hill."
With rhythmic prose that begs to be read aloud, author and illustrator Jane Brown beautifully captures the magic of childhood wishes. A dancing rabbit, wishes hung in trees, and a mysterious Wish Train that whisks children through the night sky are all delightfully depicted in Brown's enchanting dreamscape. My Moon Wish is sure to charm both children and adults.
Proceeds from the sale of My Moon Wish books will be donated to Make-A-Wish® – the largest wish-granting charity in the world. The organization believes that when a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy, and anxiety with hope.

About the Author
Jane Brown was born and raised in Herefordshire, England, and the beautiful countryside influenced her career as an artist. She has always loved quality children's books and was inspired to write My Moon Wish while staying in the small English village of Inkpen.
"I have always been inspired by the work of Make-A-Wish. The concept of wishing at the heart of my book perfectly dovetails with the organization's mission of granting life-changing children's wishes. Nothing is more powerful than a child's wish. I hope my book creates a space for children to dream and hope and let their minds journey to a place where the power of imagination and wishes can inspire them."
Jane Brown has lived in Kentucky for more than 25 years. She has two grown sons and two grandsons – Ollie, to whom the book is dedicated, and George, just recently born.
"My Moon Wish is an uplifting read that delivers an important message about the power of hope. As a wish dad – the father of a child with a critical illness – I've seen firsthand that wishes really can come true. Brown's book is inspiring children to wish big, and is helping make actual wishes come true. We're so grateful for Jane's generosity and for caring so deeply for our kids."
